DORA - San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment

A group of editors and publishers of scholarly journals met during the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) in San Francisco, CA, on December 16, 2012 to improve the ways in which the output of scientific research is evaluated by funding agencies, academic institutions, and other parties. The group developed a set of recommendations, referred to as the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

Peertechz is one of the signatory of DORA to indicate our support to address an imperative issue that scientific output is measured accurately and evaluated wisely.

Peertechz is committed to make strong links with the international community with the help of CrossRef Metadata Search. We have collaborated with CrossRef to provide DOI for the published articles with us. The DOI provided by CrossRef allows the users to search across the almost 50 million CrossRef Metadata records for journal articles and conference proceedings.

This valuable collaboration helps to assess broad range of infrastructure and services offered by CrossRef that specifically support scholarly content and make research outputs easy to find, cite, link, assess, and re-use.

With this facility, authors can ensure they have sufficiently cited their sources and presented the highest quality written work.
