About Journal

The Pancreas is a glandular organ in the digestive system and endocrine system of vertebrates. In humans, it is located in the abdominal cavity behind the stomach. The pancreas does two main things:

    1. It releases powerful digestive enzymes into the small intestine to aid the digestion of food.
    2. It releases the hormones insulin and glucagon into the bloodstream. These hormones help the body control how it uses food for energy.

There are a variety of disorders of the pancreas including acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, hereditary pancreatitis, and pancreatic cancer.

Peertechz's Annals of Pancreatic Disorders & Treatment seeks to publish manuscripts on studies related to the impact, survival as well as perceptions among patients and the family members about pancreatic disorders including cancer, in order to assist doctors and scientists in becoming more effective patient advocates.
