Dr. Harish Garg associated with the School of Mathematics at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology Patiala, India as an Assistant Professor. Prior to joining this University, Dr. Garg received a PhD in Applied Mathematics with specialization of Reliability theory and soft computing techniques, from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India in 2013 and an MSc in Mathematics from Punjabi University, Patiala, India in 2008. His research interest are in the field of Computational Intelligence, Multi-criteria decision making problems, Reliability theory, Optimization techniques, various nature inspired algorithms (e.g. genetic algorithms, swarm optimization), fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy set theory, Expert Systems. Application areas include wide range of industrial and structural engineering design problems. Garg has authored/co-authored over 117 technical papers published in refereed International Journals including Applied Intelligence, Applied Soft Computing, Experts Systems with Applications, Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Manufacturing Systems, Applied Mathematics & Computations, ISA Transactions, Computer and Industrial Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, Computer and Operations Research, International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-based Systems, Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Journal of Multiple Logic and Soft Computing, Japan Journal of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, and many more. He has published seven book chapters also. He also severs as an Editorial Board member of various International Journals. Xiaofeng Chen was born in 1980. He received the B.S. degree in Mathematics in 2003 and the M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics in 2006 both from Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. From July 2006 to now he is with Department of Mathematics, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing, China. His current research interest involves stability theory of complex-valued and quaternion-valued neural networks.

Jinde Cao is an Endowed Chair Professor, the Dean of School of Mathematics and the Director of the Research Center for Complex Systems and Network Sciences at Southeast University. From March 1989 to May 2000, he was with the Yunnan University. In May 2000, he joined the School of Mathematics, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. From July 2001 to June 2002, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Professor Cao was an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, and Neurocomputing. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems, Journal of the Franklin Institute, Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, Cognitive Neurodynamics, and Neural Networks. He is a Fellow of IEEE, a Member of the Academy of Europe, and a Foreign Fellow of Pakistan Academy of Sciences. He has been named as Highly-Cited Researcher by Thomson Reuters/Clarivate Analytics.
