Biography: Bean-Frederic Brun, born in Montpellier in 1956, is one of them. He adds a passion for speleology and the cowboy. All these activities, however, respond to a unique quest, exploring the fantasized territories of childhood. The physical, visceral love he feels for his country of avens, greenhouses and ponds, is accomplished in ritualized social or sporting practices, but also by the descent into the double verticality of history Or legend) and language. Hence its fascination for the old people, the traditions of the buñu and the horse, the fairy tales, the mystery of the places and their names, the precise and rich word, bearer of use and memory. Language serves as a mediator between these cultural traditions and a solar nature described with sensuality and even eroticism.
