    Ibukun Ogunade received his BS and MS degrees (2009 and 2011, respectively) in animal nutrition from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, and PhD in ruminant nutrition (2017) from Purdue University. He joined the Division of Animal and Food Sciences at Kentucky State University as an assistant professor in May 2017 and has been conducting research in the area of ruminant nutrition. Ogunade's research is primarily focused on nutritional modulation of rumen microbiota and metabolism in beef and dairy cattle. His research employs meta-omics techniques to study changes in rumen metabolism and metabolic status of ruminants. His research program has attracted grant support from government and private agencies. He is an ad hoc reviewer for several journals including Journal of Dairy Science, Animals, Animal Feed Science and Technology, Scientific Report, and Journal of Dairy Science. He has published 1 book chapter, 3 peer-reviewed review articles, and 34 peer-reviewed research articles. Ogunade's publications have been cited around the world more than 140 times.
