Research Interest:Current Research  focus is on identifying determinants  of genetic diversity,  effective immunological/cellular   responses  to primary  HIV-1 isolates with the intention to create a broadly neutralizing  monoclonal antibodies (bnMAbs)  targeted  at vaccine development. Characterization and description of  the genetic  evolution of  the HIV epidemic   with the goal of identifying biochemical and genomic  variants that may be correlated with disease outcomes resulting to possible vaccine candidates. We use samples from serodiscordant HIV partners and intend to gain insight on HIV integration at genome scale i.e jointly analyse HIV host/viral transcripts, identifying the patterns of antisense transcription of the viral genome.
